1 more... Blaire came out of her carseat today.

Sorry to be a PW, but we're driving home from the lake today and I'm thinking "ooh, nesties will be able to answer all of my questions and dilemmas".

Anyway, we're driving home and I look back and Blaire's left arm was out of the harness.  I put the clip at her chest level, like the directions said and the fireman who installed our seats.  But, she has figured she can slide it down, I guess.  So, she slid it down and had her left arm out and was working on getting her right arm free.  Is there anything I can do prevent that from happening again?

dilemmas does not look like it's spelled right.  sorry.

Re: 1 more... Blaire came out of her carseat today.

  • My 1.5 yo can do and did do this. I have to make sure the straps are VERY tight against him. I also spoke to him very firmly when I realized what he was doing. He hasn't attempted it in a while, hopefully he won't.
  • DS did this for the first time the other day too.  Scared the crap out of me.  I just happened to look back to hand him his drink and saw that his left arm was totally out.  He had slid downt he harness so he could get his arm out.  I told him that he can get very hurt by doing that etc and he hhasn't tried it again, but man.... these kids will get into (or out of!) anything in 2 seconds!!
