Boy Name Poll

My husband and I are stuck.  Our last name is O'Leary and we think we finally have a few names that sound good with it.  What do you think?

  • Liam doesn't go with O'Leary, too many L's.

Ian is nice, Alec sounds good with your last name but it's nms at all.

  • Love Ian!   Big Smile
  • i like Ian the best. I am not a fan of the name Alec at all though- nms. It is my nephews name and it bothers me so much when you use it in the possesive way (Alec's) it sounds like Alex, and everyone gets his name wrong

I think Ian flows the best.
I love the name Liam but I think the L's do get in the way a bit.
Alec is a great name but Ian and Liam are much more Irish and they sound so much better with your Irish last name.  Alec ends with a very harsh C sound and that just doesn't flow with the O' part of your name as well.

  • Liam O'Leary is a tongue twister, or sounds sing songy...but I love that name.  There are names I like for our baby that we just can't use though because they don't work well with our last name.  I like Ian best.

    Ian- I like this!

    Alec- slightly dislike

    Liam- dislike?

Ian sounds great with your last name. It isn't very common, but it's not strange at all. ?

  • I like all 3, but I think that eaither Alec or Liam will go better with your last name.
