12-13 months old feeding themself

Is there much 12-13 months old feeding themself with a spoon?? My DD has been feeding herself, so i just want to know if that is early/normal or what. thanks

DD has been using a fork and spoon to feed herself since 11.5 months old.  She's really good with the spoon, scooping her food up and getting it into her mouth.  She does need some help with stabbing her fork in the food, but she's getting better.

DS didn't use a spoon at that age. He really doesn't use one now. He tries but doesn't quite have it down.

This. DS tries really hard and sometimes even gets some of the food from the plate to the spoon and into his mouth. Sometimes. See siggy. lol

DD tries to feed herself with a spoon, and rarely gets anything in her mouth, when she does it is a great party for her!  She loves trying, but I end up feeding her the most.
