Anyone else feel this way about newborn pics?

When I look at newborn pictures, it doesn't even look like my baby.  I know she wasn't switched or anything--but it's just hard to think about the baby in those pics being the same baby crawling around my living room.

For example, comparing this pic to my siggy pic:

Yes. Leo looks soooo different. First of all, he was born with darker skin and a bunch of dark dark hair. Now his skin is lighter and I think his hair is dirty blonde.

Other than that though, he just didn't have his personality yet. His eyes and his expressions are different now.

I feel this exact same way!! Madi then and Madi now are night and day. The only thing that has stayed the same is the crazy mop of hair on her head

ME! When I look at his birth announcement, I'm like "Who IS this baby?" Doesn't look like him at all. If I didn't know any better, I'd think it was another baby.

I feel this way a lot too. Like the stage we're in now is where we've been for a really long time. And that teeny, tiny stage was a blink of an eye years ago.

Definitely! His newborn pics look COMPLETELY different from what he looks like now. It just amazes me how much he's actually changed!

I feel that way too.

Even crazier is looking at a video of him at 9 weeks when he was first smiling. I watched it, and then watched the most recent one of him crawling. It is NOT the same child! ;o)

Mine is made worse by the fact that DD wasn't exactly um...photogenic...as a newborn, so not only do the pics look nothing like her now, they don't even really show what she looked like then.  And let me tell you, we've got some doozies!

Me, too.  James was so tiny when he was born, and now he's chubby and round... he looks really different!

sawyer and aidan look the same to me - even now. their faces haven't changed barely LOL although aidan (now that she's older) seems like it was so so long ago, but sawyer just seems like that little NB.

I was just sorting through photos on the computer this weekend and thinking the same thing.  Even the difference from 3 months to now amazes me.

I totally feel the same way. My H still has a NB pic of DS on his computer desktop and every time I see it, I can't believe its the same baby.
