He has been sleeping in his crib set up like a daybed for almost 2 years now, and last night we finally took it down for the last time L is getting his big boy bed today and the crib is going in storage.
Don't get me wrong, I am happy he is getting a big bed, but it just really makes me realize that he will never be my little baby boy anymore. On the upside, I get to go shopping after work for new bedding!
I guess the sad part is I have been on DH's butt for about 3 months now to get this going and now that it is, I am sad about it. Does that make sense?
Re: We took L's crib down last night...
Ok, I have no idea what all the crap at the beginning is, and it won't let me delete.
Sorry
Is it bad that P is still in his crib (set up like a crib)....lol. He does sleep in a twin at my parents house though.
I'm not looking forward to the day that we even change his crib to the daybed (hence me prolonging it for so long).
Totally makes sense! That's why DS is still in his crib!
So how do you get them to stay in bed? DS, most nights, has a fit when we put him to bed. He would never stay in a bed.
Liam is 5!
Honestly, we didn't really have a problem. We thought he would climb out and play all night, but we just told him it was time to sleep, and he stayed in bed. Now we did go through a period of him getting out of bed and walking down the hall to our room, but that was pretty short lived.
