can I do this with frozen blueberries?

we're going to the zoo all day and I'd like to thaw some frozen blueberries to bring with us.  Will they stay good all day?  Fresh blueberries don't have to be refrigerated, but I don't know if you can do the same with the frozen ones.

You could bring them with you while still frozen and they'd thaw while you're out there but when frozen blueberries thaw they get kind of wet and juicy like and you'd have that blue stain on your DC's fingers, clothes, anything else touched.

that's true they would be pretty messy.  we eat them at home, but it's easier to clean up in the high chair.

Ya that will be a watery mess, take grapes we do to the zoo much cleaner and don't have to be refridg.

I put some frozen peas in a snack container last week when we went to the zoo.  By the time lunchtime rolled around, they were completely defrosted.  You can probably do the same with the blueberries.
