How are your planning your nursery for your babies? I'm still very early in the pregnancy, but I think it's fun to look around and am kind of torn on how to decorate the nursery if we have b/g twins. For those with b/g twins, did you just stay neutral? Or did you have a girl bedding and boy bedding?
Re: Nursery for multiples
there are some cute ones done that i've seen with brown/blue and brown/pink- one on each side.
if we had found out one was a girl i was going to stick with my plan to do navy/orange/sage- and just do flower wall are on the girl side- and boyish stuff on the boy side- but we've got 2 boys for sure.
Initially, I was going to use different bedding for each and just make sure the colors coordinated with the walls (which are a light green/sage color). I had actually found affordable sets online at Walmart and Kmart. But then DH threw me for a loop and wanted to use a different room as the nursery because the design of the room would accomodate the two cribs, dresser, etc. and not look as crowded. Only he doesn't think we need to do any painting or anything and wants to go with a 'farm' theme, so my color options were a bit more limited.
As of now we're skipping the bedding sets since they are pretty pricey and won't get much use, and just going with a neutral farm animal theme and mobiles. I'm still debating if I'll paint, but will stick with the neutral theme.

We are going "all girl" for our nursery b/c this will be Rachel's room and Callum will join Harmon as soon as he is old enough. We already painted it a beautiful soft yellow and we are doing these huge ladybugs running around the wall w/her name in wooden letters.
But don't feel bad for Callum... the boys room is really awesome!!! I'm handsewing curtains and bedding that is Longhorn themed. We have the coolest wall stickers for all the great sports.
Congratulations on twins! When we found out it was boy/girl, we went with a soft sage green paint on the walls and did a "winnie the pooh" themed nursery. It has soft yellows, sky blues and soft greens. I thought about decorating each crib separately, but as it turns out, they still find comfort in (and sleep through the night!) sleeping in the same crib. Once they are old enough to have their own rooms, THEN we'll decorate each room differently.
Have fun decorating your nursery! That was my favorite part
