Meeting my pen pal today!

We have a pen pal program here at work with our local elementary school. If you wish, you can be a pen pal to a 3rd grader, and write and send things back and forth for several months.
Today, we finally get to meet our little pen pals for lunch at the school, and I am so stoked!
I get to sit in the little plastic chairs in a little classroom and eat pizza with her. : )

    I?m back!
    It was so amazing seeing their little faces light up when we walked in!
    I knew exactly who my pen pal was because of the way she described herself in one of her letters. She knew who I was too, and came right up to me.
    We exchanged new letters to each other, eat and chatted, and had a blast.
    Can?t wait to do it again next year. : )
