Playing teacher this morning

I'm not a teacher or a sub...I'm a para.  A teacher is gone and no sub showed so I'm a teacher this morning.  I get time and a half for the hours I "teach"!  I have a room of 17 computer class boys...they are the stinky ones :) 

This teacher has hardly anything for them to do in class and all the kids are done with work so they are playing on the computers...what has school come to?  Kids need more work/homework/learning.

    Wait...only 17 kids...must be nice.  I had 35 one year =)

    I always leave MORE than enough for my students, because I was a sub for a year before I got a full time job.  I know what it's like to be stuck with a class that has nothing to do.  At least they're at the computers...they'd be super bored and disruptive if they were sitting at desks.

    I actually work at a school that is only for 11/12th graders.  They come here from there high school to take classes and get college credit (kind of like PSEO but they are still in a high school).  So, the class sizes tend to be a lot smaller over here.
