Before & After! (PIP)

Often my DH gets frustrated with me because it seems like I'm always taking pics of everything, even stuff that seems silly.  The only thing I didn't take pics of was my growing belly.  So if you have a LO in the NICU now you should be taking lots of pictures because one day you can look back and see how far they've come.  

BEFORE:  The boys just came home from the NICU and they are 69 days old, not even had their EDD birthday yet in this picture.  Cameron (left) weighs 6lbs 8oz and Evan weighs 3lbs 4oz.

AFTER:  This was last week at 13mos actual age, just after we were told my FIL was buying the boys new convertible car seats.  Cameron (right) is 22lbs and Evan (left) is 18.5lbs!

Aww, they are like little giants in the infant seats now!  I actually did the same comparison a couple months ago - coming home day vs. now in the carseat and that really puts their size and growth in perspective.

 we got new convertible seats too (marathon) now if only dh could figure out how to install them . . it's been 2 weeks and he hasn't figured out the lap belt issue, and we have our first long car ride  this weekend and i think we'll still be in the snugrides!  dang police haven't called us back to do it themselves.

I LOVE carseat comparision picks!! I can't believe that C was 2x the size of E!!!! Blows my mind. Look at how far they have come. They are so cute!

I still have Robbie's original snuggli in the closet. For his b-day I'm going to get it out and try to replicate one of the first NICU pictures..

p.s - i read your latest blog entries, GOOD FOR YOU FOR BEING PROACTIVE! and a big FAIL to the dumb@sses at the hospital :P i was infuriated for you just reading what you and your LOs have been going through. it's a good thing your boys have such a good momma ?

WOW!! What a difference a year makes! The boys look great!

I must say I miss Jacob being in his infant car seat. Every time I look in the mirror and see him in his Britax seat he looks like such a big boy.

We still haven't gotten rid of our infant seats. That pic makes me want to cram the boys into theirs and take a photo now.

Isn't it amazing how far these preemies come!  I was just looking at our "going home" pics the other day and thinking of how much of his carseat he fills up now.  We have the same carseat as you too!
