Dande & others re: SE MI GTG

Dandy, I was thinking about your DD while I was doing my grocery shopping this morning.  Since our zoo GTG will be the first time I've been out all day with two kids, I'm trying to figure out our stroller situation and how much room I'll have  left to load with lunch, snacks, etc.  Since I'm in planning mode, I got to thinking about what your DD can eat and/or be exposed to.  Is there anything she can't be exposed to, like peanuts, etc.  Is there a list of things we should not bring?  I don't mind following your eating guidelines, if it will make the day easier.  I don't want your DD to feel bad if everyone else is eating things she likes but can't have.

Anyone else have food issues to plan around?

  • Aw, how sweet! I can't have dairy (milk, cheese, butter) but DS can eat anything. He's very picky, so whether he'll want to eat it is another story. :)

Should we make some sort of plan as to who's bringing what? I'm still trying to pack for our move, so I can't think about this too much yet. But we can always send an email out once we have a date nailed down.

  • You're too sweet!  For things like this I let her pick her food (so don't judge if everything is junk!) and she knows not to touch other's food so should be just fine.

We don't have any restrictions here.  DS is a junk food addict so I will warn everyone now to hide your junk or he will beg like a dog from you.  He is relentless.

An email as it gets closer sounds good.

  • My child is also a begger, but no allergies or anything. :)
