We usually use powder but got offered some free concentrate... yay free stuff... are they pretty much the same or am I screwing with DS's tummy if we use it for a few days?
My DS seems to be able to take pretty much any formula in any form. I would absolutely give it a try if you dont' have any specific reason to suspect he won't take to it.

My LO wont even drink the powder.. she has taken it 2x and puked both times.. she pushes it back out of her mouth.. We only give her RTF.. you would think there is no difference but I'm convinced there is!
There is a difference, my LO cannot take powder, he does not tolerate it and spits up when he has it and is extremely fussy. We got free RTF from the pedi and the days he was on that he was a new baby so we switched to RTF which is very expensive, but the happy baby I have is priceless.
I think that sometimes the powder doesn't mix that well and might be harsh on little tummies.
The only thing I can say is that your LO might like the concentrate and start refusing powder, so if he seems OK on powder I wouldn't introduce concentrate. It is much smoother than powder and some babies will prefer that over powder even if they are fine on powder. And concentrate and RTF is not cheap. It is costing us (depending on coupons) around $120 or more to feed our baby with RTF and concentrate is the same price as RTF.
