DD has to have surgery...

on her eyes. They are pulling at bit cross eyed so they need to correct them. I know it's not a huge dea,l but it was so sad to just watch her get drops in her eyes (she screamed her head off), I can't imagine seeing her wake up from?anesthesia. On top of that we have to drive to Beverly Hills (about 1.5 hours) to have the procedure done and I can't nurse DD 6 hours before the surgery! I hate the fact that she will be fussing to eat and I cant feed her

I know it's horrible, but believe me, it's better to get it done NOW rather than LATER. She won't remember it at all and she'll be back to herself much faster than if you'd waited.

Oh man, this sounds tough all around. If its any consolation, I had the same surgery (granted it was at 14) and it wasnt very painful. The recovery was more irritating than anything, I had to wear a bandage over my one eye for a lil while and it was sensitive to light. They do it in such a way that there isnt external cutting, at least in my case, so like I said, its more irritating than painful.
