Did your "Elmo Live" break?

We have had ours since the end of March.  DS presses it maybe once a day- it doesn't get abused at all, etc... today it started to malfunction and freeze up after it says a few words.

We figured it was the batteries- but putting in new ones didn't fix it.

Anyone have theirs break? Any luck contacting Fisher price to get it fixed or a new one?? 

thankfully I only spent $20 for mine and not $60!!

    Nope, still going strong since Christmas.  DD likes to play with it too, she loves it when Elmo says 'uh oh, Elmo fell down', so... Elmo falls down... a lot.

    I would call Fisher Price.

    (How did you get it for $20?????? -- lucky you!)

    Ours broke, but I figured it was the abuse it took from my kids so I didn't call.  I also don't have the receipt.  If you have any luck calling let me know!  My kids liked it, but were a bit rough.
