Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Good morning

I thought it would be a few more weeks before I joined you ladies but here I am.  Recovery is going well. Sore as hel!!  Getting used to this mommy thing especially the BFing thing.

Did many of you wake up your LO's to BF?  I feel bad waking her but even worse if I don't think she is eating enough.  Mommy struggles starting in full force I guess.

Congrats!! She is beautiful! Our pedi told us not to let LO sleep more than 3 hours between feedings for the first few weeks.

  • We were dealing with jaundice so that first week I was waking her every 2 hours to eat. Our pedi told us once they gain back to their birth weight you can let them sleep longer at night, but should still wake every 3 during the day.

  • how precious is she! congrats!
  • Hi Steff!

We woke up LO for the past few weeks every 3 hours because of his weight loss.  After our pedi appt yesterday and learning Will has gained over a pound, we can now let him have 1 6 hour stint overnight, but still wake him every 3 hours other times (not an issue since he is in a growth spurt and feeding constantly)!
