We just switched from EBFing to FFing and I'm overwhelmed by all the bottles! Share with me how you wash your bottles or if you feel like you have a good system for keeping bottles clean I would love to hear it. Also, how many bottles do you have?
I have about 8 or 9 bottles. His babysitter also keeps 3 bottles at her house, so basically I only need to wash his bottles every couple days. I hand wash mine and have a bottle drying rack like this:
Also, I feel like it is easier to make bottles as I need them rather than make a bottle and reheat it. Reheating is a PITA. I just use warm water from the tap.

I EP so I know how you feel. WE rotate through 6 bottles, and we wash them right after we use them. It is less overwhelming that way. When I get home from work we make the bottles for the next day and keep them in the fridge so they are ready to go, and just rotate them out, when H uses one he washes it and fills it right back up with the milk I pumped whil I was home the day before and puts it in the fridge.
it seems to help things move along when she wakes up from her naps and wants to eat right away as well.
Total of 6 bottles - 3 of them are 4 oz and the other 3 go up to 10 or 12 oz. They are Dr. Browns so I know there are several parts (UGH). 2 of my bigger bottles stay at my daycare. I function with 4 bottles at home.
Out of the 4 remaining bottle - 2 of them I changed the nipples on to the Y cut to make the bottle feeder bottles. She gets a feeder bottle as her last bottle of the night - and a feeder bottle as her first bottle.
The other two bottles comes throughout the evening.
I use drop-ins. I have 4 bottles and just wash nipples and lids at night (I have 8 of those). I'll wash the bottles a couple times a week. He eats 5 bottles a day.

This is basically what we do too.
Also, from about 1 week on, DS got his bottles straight from the fridge. So he's totally used to cold milk/FF. Just keep this in mind because there is no medical reason why babies can't drink cold milk. It's just more what they are used to. But my bigger point- you do NOT have to heat the bottles up! If your DC will take it cold- be happy about it!

We use playtex drop-ins nursers so we only wash the nipples.
I pump so I have enough storage bottles to wash every day, let alone having to wash baby bottles too!
