I already told you this in another thread, but I prefer Mina. Then Meena. Not so crazy about Mena.
You actually prompted this, as I had never seen it spelled that way, thanks!
I feel so important now.
Mina was originally a nickname for Wilhelmina. That's a mouthful, though.
Delurking to say - I'm reading Dracula right now, and one of the main characters is Mina Harker - short for Wilhelmina. I like Mina - it's very pretty.
I like Mina best. My DD's full name is Catherine Wilhelmina...Wilhelmina is after a great grandparent & she went by Mina....but my DD goes by Winnie which is a combo of 2 Wilhelmina nicknames...Minnie & Willa. We're weird that way--LOL!
AKA Carol*Brady! IHO my upcoming 10yr Nestiversary--Back to old screenname. My own Marsha, Jan & Cindy...

thanks. It's our EU anchor baby. (I have to stop. I've used that joke like 20 times today. But I find it hysterical!)

Mina.
I think of Mena as May-na.
I love the name Mina and would spell it with an "i" ?second choose would be Mena.
I don't like the spelling Meena at all.?
Elizabeth 5yrs old Jane 3yrs old
ditto
For real? What do you need all those extra letters for?

I know of a girl who is named for her grandmother...
Minna... pronounced MIN-ah
Ditto.
Also, Meena looks a little too "hookt awn fonix" for me. Mina is super cute, esp. as a nn for something like Wilhelmina.
Actually Meena is the traditional Indian spelling, and since you know, my DH is from there I'm open to it.
