I am asking this question on behalf if a friend with a 5 month old baby girl who is not a fellow bumpee. Any feedback would be appreciated, so TIA!
1. Do you find benefits to organic baby food versus non-organic baby food?
2. If you're not keeping up with all organic, all the time, is it worth it to give the baby organic baby food (for instance, you're giving him or her organic baby food, but then a small piece of mushed up banana for a snack that is not organic)?
I hope it makes sense. Again, TIA.
Re: Organic v. Non-Organic baby food
there are some foods that are beneficial to serve organically. ?there are some, mostly those with large peels or rinds (like bananas), where it really doesn't matter if it's organic because the pesticides are not affecting the food itself. ?
i would encourage your friend to do some research. ?i plan on serving my son organic foods when it makes sense. ?but i'll make all of it on my own... i may buy some jars just to have a stash on hand.?
