I thought I would have HUGE fits of anxiety because I used to have it pretty bad before Baby B was born, but surprisingly I think I've been pretty good about calming myself!
I never thought about how obsessed I would be over what she eats. Now I am like...what should her first food be? Second? Third? What if she's allergic? I'm a psycho. Haha.
I've never really been the kind of person to go crazy over babies and little kids, so while I knew I would love DS, I am a bit surprised at how much I just love spending time with him, watching him learn and grow and being a mom. And I've honestly surprised myself about how good of a mom I am.
My OCD about keeping the house perfect lessened after I had Kelsey...I just don't have as much time anymore. I have also learned that the toddler stage makes me want to break down and cry about once a day lol. It's hard to be a mom of a child with selective hearing!!!
I thought I would be more obsessive than I am...dh is a fanatic about people washing hands etc but I am not...same with boiling water for formula...but I am told I don't let my baby cry...BUT my philosphy is that why should he cry if he doesn't need to...
I'm way protective and a huge germaphobe. I thought I'd love it when people wanted to hold my baby....not so much- not even MIL. I thought I'd go back to work...not so much.
