(Also keep in mind that I'm on the fence about all names that are not Graham, which is what the child's name should be. DH is just being a stubborn mule.)
Trevor is my brother's name. If it weren't, I might use it myself (DH has said the same thing). I think it's nice, unusual but not overly so. My brother usually goes by "Trev" with his friends.
Everyone loves Magical Trevor 'Cause the tricks that he does are ever so clever Look at him now, disappearin' the cow Where is the cow heading right now?
Taking a bow, it's Magical Trevor Everybody seen that the trick is clever Look at him there with his leathery, leathery whip! It's made of magic, and with a little flip
Yeah, yeah, yeah, the cow is back Yeah, yeah, yeah, the cow is back Back, back, back from his magical journey Yeah!
What did he see in the parallel dimension? He saw beans, lots of beans, lots of beans, lots of beans. Oh, beans lots of beans lots of beans lots of beans. Yeah, yeah!

Honestly, Trevor is #1 on my list right now! I never even considered it and I kept struggling over so many names. I want something that's not so common but something that's not so trendy or odd. I need a name that none of my male co-workers in a school have, or any of the staff's recent babies have, or any of my friends and family have! One day DS brought up Trevor because a pro golfer has that name and at first I was like "no way!" but then I sounded it out with our last name and it sounds so good! It is a keeper, in my opinion!

Haha love this.
Trevor's ok. Doesn't wow me by any means, but I don't dislike it.
I think of Trevor the Traction Engine, a character from Thomas the Tank Engine 1st, an an old friends little brother 2nd. That being said, I think it's cute, but I prefer Graham as too!
I really like Trevor. I think it's a nice name that isn't very common, yet everyone knows the name. It's easy to pronounce and spell too. My brother's best friend is named Trevor and he's a really great guy. I like it a lot more than Graham. Caroline and Graham don't fit together as well as Caroline and Trevor.?

See, I totally think the opposite. Caroline and Graham go together great. Both are classic, somewhat preppy, somewhat Southern-sounding names. Besides I feel like the whole concept of having your kids' names "go together" is pretty dumb.

I wouldn't say Graham is considered a classic. It's been used in England and Scotland since the 50s and before that it was a surname. Some people don't care about names sounding good together, but I think it's strange when a child has a trendy name like Addison and her brother has a classic name like Henry. I like when names are the same style. I don't think this applies with either Graham or Trevor since they aren't trendy names.?
I love the name Graham, it was on my list last time and again this time. But I like Trevor, too. What I think of is a Thomas train, but my son is so obsessed with them that I think of a Thomas train anytime I hear a name that's from Thomas, even if it's a common name.

It's what this baby boy was destined to be named! DH is being such a poopy-head about it!!!!! It's driving me crazy.

My husband's name is Trevor
I LOVE it I feel blessed to have met and married a man of his character. I might be biased though.
