LO sleeps with his arms up by his head. Do all babies do this?

yes, he'll drop then down eventually.  Someone told me its a sign of relaxation in babies.

dd has to.  We have to keep one arm out of the swaddle or else she won't sleep

She does when she sleeps on her tummy for nap time. Otherwise at bed time I swaddle her so she can't.

DD has always slept like this - so I had to do an "adjusted swaddle" from her chest down.  If she cant throw her hands up - then forget about her sleeping. 

Now I dont know if it is a sign of relaxation like the PP said...because I got a picture of her and my DH and they are both in the same position.  If I can find it I will post it...LOL...

Mine does!  I try to swaddle her but she hates it and breaks out of it...she likes her arms free and up!
