I had my baby!

I delivered Hailey on 5/12 at 2:03 pm. MD tried to push for a c section but I pushed hard for 2 hours and and delivered vaginally. She weighed in at 8 lbs 9.8 ozs and was 20 inches long. I am so happy my wait is finally over and I have this new perfect little bundle of joy at home with me.

I ended up getting an epidural. I was terrified about how it would feel (being in your spine, etc) and honestly, the IV I got in my hand was the worst art of the WHOLE process. The epidural did not hurt at all. Delivery did not hurt at all b/c of teh epidural. I can honestly say I have no horror stories at all about my experience.

I hope you all have similar experiences, i.e. smooth deliveries without any complications.
