My Failed Induction...

So I had a f/u appointment yesterday due to concerns of pre-e and depleting fluids. After my appointment we were sent to L & D for additional monitoring and the on call dr. decided that they would started to induce me at 7ish last night. I was a fingertip dilated and 50% effaced which was progress from my appointment on Monday, Anyway they used the prostaglandin gel, which instantly started contractions, they kept me over night as the contractions were 2 minutes apart. Woke up this morning, no longer contracting, 1 cm and still 50% effaced. The doctor stripped my membranes and gave my Cyotec to attempt to induce again. Nothing... not one freaking contraction. My pre-e symptoms had improved/stablized and they didn't want to go more aggressively with my induction so I was sent home on bed rest, empty handed from the hospital at almost 39 weeks pregnant 28 hours later. What a cruel joke..
