I know this because I am anal about how random people hold their own kids! I can't stand to see a head just wobbling around like a cantleope.

I dread my litter sister holding my kid. I know she will be SUPER careful but, I will be on edge.

Hell, I am on edge about FI holding LO. LOL.

K lurking again... (2nd tri is slowww) But I know what you mean! Sometimes when I see ppl in public I just want to take thier kids from them, Ive been out a few times and seen parents not pay attention and thier kid falls on thier face or walks too close (for my liking lol) to the edge of the skytrain stand. Oh well well be new moms and ppl can deal with it!

I'm so judgy about other people's parenting skills, my child will NOT be the bsc crazy one running around the restaurant, store, park alone. I see too many toddlers walking around Wal-mart alone, there are too many freaks out there!

I know I am going to be the same way!  I keep telling myself that it will be okay if not everyone does things my way (DH especially)...I'm too much of a control freak LOL!

I am probably going to freak out every time someone else wants to hold my baby. I'm even going to freak out when my boyfriend wants to hold Christian and I have to remind myself constantly that he's the father and that he's not going to do anything dumb but I still have a hard time. I'm thinking maybe once Christian gets here that I'll chill out a bit.

I totally hear ya on that.  I didn't spend all this time cooking the kid for people to toss him/her around like a pizza.

I've actually already made a mental list of ppl that I'd be wary of if they ask to hold the baby. I'll just say he's been fussy or something, I can just see them letting his head flop around like a rag doll and not thinking anything of it! EEP!

I sure don't think it's rude, I will be doing the same thing.
