Uggg...DS cut his toe

Tonight L was helping me unload the dishwasher and grabbed some silverware to put away.  Before I knew it, he dropped a butter knife on his big toe, causing it to bleed.  He burst into tears and demanded a band aid.  I took him in the bathroom, cleaned him up, put some neosporin on his cut and put a Spongebob band aid on him. 

I feel terrible.  He loves to help me with my chores, and didn't even think about him grabbing for a butter knife!

    Aww, don't feel bad.  I'm surprised a butter knife could do that!

    Was he better after SpongeBob?

    Oh Spongebob does wonders for him!  But I think he is getting sick.  After he was all cleaned up, he was laying in my bed and started crying.  I went in to see what was wrong and he said his eye hurt.  I asked what happened and he said a little boy at school hurt his eye.  Mind you, this was hours ago.  He said he needed a band aid.  I think he may have been milking it at that point Smile

    Ah, poor little guy. I am surprised that a butter knife would do that.

    Ya, Preston likes to milk his boo boo's too. I hope he isn't coming down with something.
