Like do I haaaaaave to have sex everyday in order to see some sort of "result" like labor or my water breaking. I know sex won't guarantee labor, but I'm thinking of the "what if".

I'm trying to figure out if it's even worth having sex. Hmmmm...I'm wondering if I should just give in.

From personal experience, No, it doesnt work. But that doesnt mean it isnt worth a try.

ha ha ive never heard of that syndrome!

i have the cant get enough syndrome.

i was told to hold off the last two weeks and put on modified bed rest because i started to go into labor but yesterday i was officially diagnosed with prodromal labor which means that i could be contracting for weeks with out any progress. so i gave up my pelvic rest in hopes to get something going. two weeks of contractions every 10 minutes has me up the wall! i want to get this going already!?

We waited until the nurse left after my 9pm b/p reading (they don't come back until 11) and then I leaned over the couch so we could listen for someone to walk up (we are at the end of the hall). They keep our charts locked in boxes, and it makes noise whenever someone opens the chart.

We got down to business, it took a bit for us to get worked up, though.

Love it, SBLAY!

My sex drive has been up the wall lately - mostly because I have spent a lot of this pregnancy on pelvic rest (placenta previa then pre-term labor contractions) and am finally NOT on it. But also because I'm hoping it gets something moving...even if it is just some dilation and effacement, I had no progress at 37 weeks and was a bit bummed (even though I know it doesn't mean much).

Surprisingly, it feels awesome right now too - so I told DH if he was game for every day then lets do it! I've been having a lot more contractions since we started this daily thing too...I guess I'll find out at my appt. on Tuesday if it is doing any good. If not, we're having fun trying!
