Not very. I think it happens more than you'd think. But its quite likely you wouldn't be able to have a vaginal birth, because a lot of doctors won't do VBAC anymore (sadly).
I don't think the pregnancy itself would be a problem though.
They just had that topic on The Doctors (VBAC going away, not pregnancy soon after a c-section). It's just so sad
Anywho... I wouldn't think that it'd be a bad thing. My sister's two kids are 15 months apart and she had no problems with her second pregnancy after a c-section.

because i had a dream i was pregnant and in it my OB told me my uterus would burst. this is totally something he'd say too. so i've of course been thinking about it all day. and, if i actually am pregnant, i'm totally playing the lottery because odds would ALL be in my favor. just sayin'.
oh and Dr. D also found his sense of humor while he was sewing me up and joked about putting velcro on me so that "next year when was having another beautiful baby, he'd have easy access".
A friend of mine has 4 kids, all c-sections...all kids are 15-20 months apart. Another friend of mine has 5 kids, 5 and under. (Well, the 5th is due in Aug.)...she's had a c-section for all but the 1st.
Re: hypothetically speaking....

If hadley was Cuppa...would this be...Bowla Soup?
ladies, i specifically said "hypothetically!"
Right, but we like to jump to conclusions around here, especially when it comes to the resident pee pusher.

Ahhhh, ok.
BTW, did you see my post from earlier today? It was a pic of Sophia in the same cute outfit Hadley has!
My OB said I could get pg anytime I wanted - I think he even 'dared' me t get pg. And this was when I was still thinking I wanted a VBAC.

My doctor told me I could get pg again when Joey was 4 months old. I was too scared to have babies 13 months apart though.
