OB in Baltimore

I posted this on the local boards, but the B-More board is slow.  Can anyone recommend an OB in the Baltimore area that delivers at GBMC?  I'm in SUCH a crappy situation right now and am having to switch OBs asap.  Thanks in advance.

    I don't know Baltimore OBs (I'm delivering in Harford Co) but depending on the reason you're switching doctors (and if you're leaving your current doc on good terms) could you possibly ask him/her for a recommendation?

    And I agree - our local board is disappointing.

    well maybe you need to look at who your insurance covers and go from there....not sure if situation is bad with your current OB/GYN so maybe you can ask your regular doctor for a recommendation based on the names of Obs your insurance covers.....

    They don't deliver at GBMC, but I love my doctor, and all the others in their practice.  They deliver at Mercy.

    Good advice ladies!  I appreciate it.  I'm super upset right now because my work sucks and is switching insurance companies, which in turn is forcing me to change doctors.  Its quite the ordeal!

    I heard that Mercy was rated 'the best place to give birth in Baltimore'. Seems pretty nice from what I've seen.

    I go to Capital Women's Care which is in St Joe's right around the corner from GBMC. I delivered my DS at St Joe's and had a great experience....as did several of my friends and co-workers.  One of my good friends delivered at GBMC this week and had a horrendous experience...i haven't heard great things about delivering at that hospital.

    I agree about the local Baltimore bump board but you can always ask your question on the Baltimore Nest page.  The ladies there are always willing to help out if they can.

    Hi -

    I just moved from Baltimore...But I saw Ginny Merryman and Dominic Allen...They were AMAZING with my DD. Dr. Merryman was the greatest. I had a horrible PG and she always made me feel better. They are located at GBMC and deliver there.
