3rd Trimester

Ugh, my sister is a brat!

She is the baby, she get's away with everything. She graduated college a year ago and has yet to find a job. She lives with my mom, doesn't help out with my dad who lives there and has Parkinson's. She has digital cable and internet in her room. She complains when the service is out, or whatever. She doesn't contribute a cent to the household. My mom is the only breadwinner. Anyway, so I take responsibility for my part for the monster that she is.

Current Situation: She's asked to borrow my car to go to her alma mater for graduation tomorrow morning. I agreed to allow her to borrow it, and we are going to use MIL car, because we need to go shopping for baby items, and her car is bigger. Anway, MIL car will be available for us tonight at 9pm, I just told lil sis that dh will drop off our car tonight and she can take him to pick up MIL(she lives 10 min away) car from her house. My sister starts complaining about how its suppose to rain, and after 9pm is too late. The graduation isn't until tomorrow morning and its about an hour and a half away. She says she doesn't want to wake up early, and it's too late to drive after 9pm.  I told her that I don't see the need to inconvienance more people just so she can go to graduation, and she needs to learn to just say thank you. She keeps complaining about it. UGH!! She is a brat, and it never ceases to amaze me how much she feels she is entitled to. Brat!!

  • Geez...a little ungrateful is she?  Tell her those are the terms or no car.  Bet you she won't refill for the gas she uses.  Did you tell her when you need your car back?

Good for you for telling her to STFU except to say thank you. If she keeps complaining now that you've spoken up, I wouldn't let her use the car at all. Possibly never.
