Birthing ball = best thing ever

I got a birthing ball (an exercise ball, really) yesterday, and it's awesome to sit on - totally takes away all the pain and pressure in my hips and lower back.  I bought it because it's supposed to help the baby drop, but it feels really great, too!  I wish I'd bought one sooner!

I've been on the fence about getting one but if it will help with the pain I think I'll try to get one this weekend.

DH laughs at me when I pull out our excersie ball and sit on it in the middle of the living room to watch TV, I keep telling him it is the only time my back does not hurt.

i got mine yesterday too!  i wasn't going to but dh bought it for me and now i just bounce around while watching tv.  plus it came with a list of exercises that i can do once the baby's here.  *snort* yeah, that'll happen...

I love mine. It also helps the baby get in/stay in an anterior position.

I love mine too. I work from home and now I use it as my desk chair. The first few days were a bit uncomfy because my posture was so bad. Now that I have been using it for a week, my back has been feeling good. It's nice to be able to move around on. Definitely worth the 8 bucks.

Oh, and I had to get a 2nd one for my DH/kids to use for thier computer. They loved mine and kept stealing it.

They should make one printed with princesses and unicorns in glitter so the guys will leave it alone.
