Getting back on track. . .
I was a little (okay, a lot) bummed out last week due to some hiccups in our homestudy progression.
Fast forward to today: DH doesn't have to leave for Scotland until tomorrow night, so we were able to keep our interview appointment this morning. We also scheduled our final meeting for May 27th!
Allowing time for our SW to write the homestudy and then go over it with us, we should be on track for a mid-June approval!!!!
I'm pretty stoked over this (despite having kind of a crappy day - I got a speeding ticket) - and I couldn't help but share a little.
2 years TTC with 5 losses, 1 year recovering, 6 months applying for adoption approval, and almost a year waiting for a placement. Then, a miracle BFP at age 36!
