The rash is from head to toe, all over him. It's a little hard to see since his hand is in the way (and it's a little big) but he looks awful. At least it's not itching him and he doesn't seem bothered by it.

omg--my ds has the exact same rash. do you have any idea what it could be? it doesn't seem to be bothering mine either, but it's irking me that i can't figure it out. a girl at church had fifth disease last week and i'm wondering if maybe it was that, but i have no idea. i hate to take him an hour to the dr, especially if he doesn't seem bothered by it at all.

In our case it's a reaction to amoxicillin, is your DS on any meds? I hope he feels better soon!

oh that's right--i remember reading that this morning. my mind has gone straight down the toilet since dd was born.

he isn't on any meds and hasn't eaten anything new recently. i haven't switched laundry detergents or soaps and he didn't get into anything outside. dh and i noticed it a little a few days ago and then yesterday it was everywhere--it's driving me insane that i dont' know where it came from! BUT, as dh keeps telling me, i must "simma down" because he's been acting like his normal self the entire time. no fever, no nothing, just this weird rash.

so i've been trying to "simma."
