I want some expletive caffeine!

Ugh, I am having a really rough morning... bad sleep, 3rd trimester pains kicking in, not really excited about the lunch I packed... just... blaaaahhhh. Dr said I could have one cup of something caffeinated a day, but I've still been steering clear of coffee, so if I take her up on it, it's always tea. And I didn't even remember to bring that to the office today. I miss my friggin' coffee! Sigh... just venting...

  • I know, I should just have a little... Damn news report a saw a couple months back scared me a bit... like the news is sooo accurate with medical stuff! I'm being stupid.
  • I'd waddle myself to the nearest coffee sand and get a java jolt!
  • Have some!  Up to 3 cups a day is fine.  At least that's the rule I live by.

I wish, but I really don't think this is true. The news study I saw said that the 300mg they used to recommend was monitered in pg ladies and caused a much larger amount of miscarriages than previously thought, meaning that amount of caffeine is actually not safe. That might have been more true for the 1st trimester, though. And like I said, I don't know how much I believe medical stuff I see on the news. Still, my Dr. said 1 cup. I can see where I'm being silly about not having that, but I think 3 is a little excessive...

  • Update: Coincidentally, a coworker offered to buy me a cup of coffee, and I couldn't turn her down. My mood is much improved! :)))

The very nice woman who checked us out did ask me, though, whether it was ok for me to be drinking coffee. Of course. Lol!
