I'm trying to keep myself motivated so I'm still window (computer window) shopping. This is further out that I would like to live but it's in a really good school district and still close to a lot of things. Oh, and the price doesn't hurt. I've been looking and the affordable apts. aorund here are hovels and the nice ones are more than a mortgage. It makes no sense to throw money away on them.

Re: Do you like this place?
I like it!
I was going to suggest on waiting to see what your check looked like before doing anything, but it looks like you'll be okay. Is it really $2something a month?
I never got to say it, but Congratulations! You're doing great momma!

Emily, I'm the master at figuring that stuff out (I plot every tax option and extra deduction that could be taken out) and I'm a tightwad so I've been saving up. I def. am not going to make any moves before I start but I want to see what my options are. I can't stay with my sis forever and I'm still not keen on returning home (though things are calmer). Anyway, I totally get what you're saying. Hope my explanations didn't come off dismissive or defensive. :-) I was shocked by that calculator too but when I work it out with Mel's formula I get about the same. Still have to take into acct. any HOA fees too. Thanks!
thats awsome and what a price wow!!
I was paying $1300 rent a month for that here
Annapolis, that made me lol. See, you're stressed and still have jokes. ;-)
Amaminals, those floors are gorgeous. I like that it's on the first floor too. A can't jump around and annoy people.
Love it.
Liam is 5!
Yes I do!
It looks like a great place. I was in Huntsville last year and was surprised, though, at the number of drug users, and therefore low quality places to live, in the area.
Me with my littlest.
