Our church school is in the process of looking into becoming a charter school. I am seriously thinking about becoming their special education representitive during the charter process. I am doing a lot of research, but would love to hear first hand experiences. Thank you. This has got to be something I 100% believe in to go back to work.
Re: Personal experience with Charter Schools?
A friend of mine teaches special ed. at a local charter school. She says that it is aweful. It seems that it really depends on the area and the leadership of the particular school. Her school has many problems.
I would think a faith based school might be different, verses a management company. Good luck!
