intro and help?
hi there, i have posted a little bit, but haven't really introduced myself here. a board friend from another site told me about how good your multiples board is.
i am 31w1d, having frat, girl-girl twins... we did 2 cycles of ivf to get pg with them, and dh and i are thrilled to be first time parents.
i've had a pretty difficult pg. bedrest started at 13wks with a bad bleed, then had modified bedrest from 19-23wks. at 23wks was hospitalized w/shortening & funneling cervix. had steroids and a few days later was sent home on bedrest, stable. at 28wks was hospitalized again w/cervix down to 5mm. had another course of steroids. spent 10 days, and then sent home, stable again.
so, at 31 wks, i have been on bedrest 18wks, and now feel pretty much like a large gestating blob 
i am so grateful to still be baking these babies, but i am greedy and want so bad to get to 36wks... dr. keeps telling me we'll be thrilled with 34.
i know i am introducing myself late in the game...i guess i just feel weird posting w/out people knowing who i am. have tried a couple of times to attach the ticker, and can't figure out how you do it. any suggestions?

Go to this link: Countdown Tickers and go create a ticker and copy the HTML code it gives you. Than go to My Bump on the top corner of the menu. Under your Avatar (the pregnant lady picture) there is the "edit my profile" option. It has edit my signature... put the code in there, save changes, and you are good to go.
congrats and welcome! better late than never.
i'm in awe of all the mamas who had to do extensive bedrest. you rock! good luck on a few more weeks, at least.

Hi Jan!!!! I am soooooo happy you came over here! You are doing such an awesome job baking those girls! It really is amazing! How is everything going? How are their weights? Do you have everything done? I'm gonna post a one month update on the other board with some pics because I can't figure anything out on this board!!!! No advice wih the ticker....I did it once ans can't figure out how to do it! You are gonna LOVE having girls!!! It is so much fun already. I can't believe how much they change from week to weeek. We had one stay in the NICU bc she was small 4lbs 5oz and had to have the feeding tube....now she is such a good eater and is getting a double chin!!! I love it!!! Update me on what's going on with you!!!

hey leah! i am so glad to hear your dd is getting a double chin! really just so glad that things are going well for you. i know (well i can only guess really) how scary things must be when a baby is having a tough time. how much did dd weigh when they let you take her home?
francisca's instruction on how to do the ticker was really easy... might even get to put up a pic... other than that, i can't quite figure out how this board works either. how do you know when someone responds to your post? i guess you have to just check?

girls weights are 3lb 7oz, and 3lb 9oz at 31wks. they are now somewhere between 30th and 40th %tile i think... definitely slowed down some since our last growth scan at 26wks. now seeing a peri who specializes in multiples, (lost my ob in transition to hosp w/nicu), and he sees the growth as good. we recheck at 33 wks... ha.. .if i make it that far. dh is skeptical, but i am living in lala land and think we'll get to 36wks. though i am getting SO uncomfortable in the last week.
are things ready? lol! we have a lot of stuff, and we are still missing alot of stuff. dh took this week off to care for me and paint the nursery. very excited about that.
