How many ounces does your 4 month old take?

Ds is wanting to eat every 2-2 1/2 hours and I think that is crazy!  He is taking 6 oz and crying when it is gone.  I gave him 8 oz tonight and he passed out!  My kid is a chub!  He weighs 16 lbs already.  Is this a growth spurt?  It seems like he has been going through a growth spurt for 4 months now!!  ahhhhh.

    My DS is a few weeks younger than yours but he is at 4-6 oz every 3 hrs , sometimes 2.5 hrs. He was 13lbs11oz at 12 weeks.....sounds ike yours maybe ready for solids?

    DD was consistently at 5-6oz for 6ish feedings per day. ?Just last week she has decided that she needs 40oz total a day. ?Her pedi said when it got to that point she wasn't satisfied with formula and to start solids. ?We are starting with rice cereal on Saturday.

    DD takes 4 oz every 2-2.5 hours and she's almost 5 months!  I've been able to get her to take 5oz at her very first morning feeding, but after that she'll stop at 4 no matter how much I have in the bottle.  Her tummy must know when it's full.  So by the end of the day she averages 25-28oz.  She's 16lbs 4 oz as of today... they sound like they are right alongside each other!
