So, these birds have decided for the second year in a row to use our tree's to nest in. B and I always check up on the babies and yesterday, one was sitting down low on the tree. I don't know if it fell out or what but it was outside the nest and stayed there forever, then dissapeared.
Do you think it just learned to fly and flew away? I'm hoping it didn't get hurt. Could it be the mom kicked them out and it was time to go? He was a nice size.
Damn these creatures, I worry about them! Why do they have to show up on our door?
you know me, I got footage - Here he is...
Re: More wild life questions - Birds
I can't tell what kind of a bird it is. I think it probably flew away. If not, it would still be there in the nest (or dead below it from falling out.)
Loser.

we have a bird's nest by our window. One day the baby bird tried to fly and flopped on the ground, couldn't get back up. I tried to catch it with a dishtowel and put it back in the tree and got attacked by its parents.
Screw nature. lol.
thats why I didn't attempt to put it back, the parents always show up out of nowhere when B and I are checking it out.
Its like a blackish bird with a orange belly.
you skank! that's my fear!
wahhhhhhhhhh
