I was reading down a page or two and someone mentioned trying a "fix it" solution for leaky Avent bottles--I like the bottles but hate the leaks too and get milk all over the place at least 50% of the time...so annoying!!
What can I do about it (besides throw them out)....thanks!
Re: What's the "fix it" solution for leaky Avent bottles?
This is a long process to explain but it works for us.
Take the white ring and feel for the little dot on the outside, they all have a dot. Then take the nipple and align one set of the air vents with that dot, pull it through until it clicks. When you are screwing the ring on, we do it until it's tight, and don't try to make it "tighter". When we feed him, we always have the dot on the ring "up" toward the ceiling, so air can do in/out without the milk going out through the vents.

This blog will show you how. MrsL also says to put the vent that you don't have within the screw line thingies in line with that dot on the outside and have that face up when you feed... the air will vent out of that one and you'll get less bubbles too. GL!
ditto. ?and then i turn it upside down (or in the position it's in when i feed C) in the sink to see if it will leak. ?if it doesn't, we're in business.?
