Parenting after a Loss

**MRSDANIGIRL8**

Did you start running last week? With Berty out, I need someone who will rely on my running!

*If you see this Berty, when do you plan to be back to running?

Re: **MRSDANIGIRL8**

  • I did :) And I've stuck to a mile/mile and a half a day since then.

It feels great to be back in the game. How'd you do last week? My goal is to continually add 1/2 a mile every two weeks until I'm up to where I was pre-preg (6 miles).

I signed up for a 5K in August to keep me motivated.

  • I'm doing pretty good too. I am doing the 9 weeks to a 5K that Berty talked about. I started week 2- a  jog 90sec/walk 2mins combo. I have never done training like this before. In the past, I just ran as far as I could every day eventually working up to 4 miles.

I like this because I seem to be working harder when I am actually jogging. If I tried to jog the whole time, it would be at a snails pace!

  • I haven't had a chance to download the C25K program yet

but I'll do so and start next week so you have a buddy. Glad to hear you're liking it!
