Babies on the Brain

Oy!

How many times can I change Christopher's clothes in one day?  This morning I changed him out of his outfit from yesterday into a sleeper.  He had a blow out.  So I changed him into a different sleeper.  Now he has a wet spot on his back.  Off to change him yet again.  Yes  Good job buddy!  He is definitely keeping me busy.

  • Hang in there!
  • You know i was thinking about the mystery back pee... maybe its the position his weewee is in. I know its little but i would assume if it in some way is point up towards his belly or to his side the pee just flows that way...? Just a guess

    It is a true mystery...

I might have to do the naked baby thing.  Lol.  Diaper only.  He definitely likes peeing and pooping on/in his clothes.

It actually cracks me up now that I am thinking about it.  His diaper was loaded with pee (in the front) but none in the back of the diaper.  How on earth does it go from the front to his back?!  I.don't.get.it!

Sometimes the clothing makes a good barrier. For instance, DS has a blowout that had poop all the way up his back and into his neck folds. He was in his exersauer when it happened. Surprisingly, none of the poop got on anything but him.

  • My grandma always said this, well not the body functions but the clothing changes, was her favorite part. She would change her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren multiple times a day just for fun.

I agree with pp about clothes being a good barrier. My nephew and a little boy I used to baby sit did this often and the clothes were usually a very VERY good thing. Actually about a month ago my nephew was rocking the diaper only style when it happened.... some got on the carpet and I almost vomited. Idk why but that got to me and I am usually really good about that.

With my nephew and the other boy I found that making sure his penis was facing down helped (I would pull the diaper up further then needed and then use it to redirect the penis.)
