I pretty much knew by the time she was 6 weeks old but hers was compounded by acid reflux

I'M GRAPE JELLY- ALWAYS AROUND & ALWAYS THE SAME
If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me. For I must be traveling on now. Because there are too many places I've got to see. -Allen Collins & Ronnie VanZant
My favorite verse!
I'm pretty sure Brooke had a very mild case of it - but I knew very early on. THE only way I could console her was holding her over my shoulder and pacing ONLY a certain area of the kitchen floor. But it was not before her inconsolable screaming for almost two hours at the same time every evening.
DD had it, it started at 3 weeks she screamed every day from 7 until midnight. Sometimes nursing would stop the screaming, but not always. It is classified as a child screaming for three hours a day three days a week, I believe. DD's ended at 4 months. It was the longest 3.5 months of my life.
Dd's kicked in around 4w. ?She was born at 36w though, so this was when she reached her "full-term" age, for whatever that's worth. ?If you ff, probiotic drops can be really helpful. ?https://www.biogaia.com
With Gina, we started Zantac at six weeks. It helped, but she was still a screamer, and it lasted until 6/7 months, until she was sitting upright on her own.
With Emi, I started a dairy free diet, and it stopped. It kills me to think that I could have prevented all those of months of screaming with Gina.
DD cried constantly and never slept for longer than an hour at a time from the day she was born. Whenever people say "colic starts at about 6 weeks," DH says, "Then what was wrong with her for the first 6 weeks?!" lol
Sorry you even have to be asking/thinking about the c-word. =(
Re: If your dc had colic
She "woke up" at about 3.5 weeks and didn't stop screaming 'til she was over 5 months old.
with DS it hit at 4 weeks and lasted 8 mos, DD 2 weeks and getting worse. Yes I got 2 in a row, how's that for luck?
Both girls 'woke up' around a month.
