XP: Jake Update and Happy Mother's Day!

Hope you all are having a wonderful day! We went to see our little boy for a long time today and I must say it feels amazing to be able to hold him and be with him on Mother's Day. It still feels surreal and I could probably just stare at him all day!

He pulled out his vent tube on Friday (a little trouble maker already!) and has been on oxygen ever since (his levels looked good enough that he didn't need the vent put back in). He has been slowly getting better and is keeping his temp up and food down. All good signs so hopefully he's on the right track to be going home as soon as possible!
