I am adding some last minute stuff to my registries before the completion coupons come, and could use some recommendations!
What sort of toys do you find appeal (if any) to your LO? What would you recommend? What's a total waste of money? Doesn't have to be toys only... really anything that you can think of that you wish you'd had on your registry, or that you've found to be invaluable since you brought your LO home.

Re: Talk to me about toys
not sure what you already have/registered for....
Jacob loves his Eric Carle Ladybug.. it's like the Lamaze toys. he has a couple of those too that he plays with. We have toys for the high chair bar, the bar of the car seat and the stroller... things that make lots of noises.
how about planning ahead, and getting some teething toys? toys for when baby is older? like the lamaze blocks or things like that. we are gearing up for them next.
honestly... I always "stalked" random registries.... I would go to the BRU or buy buy baby website and type in any initial and find people that were having a baby close to me.. see what they added and I didn't. make sense?
DD LOVES the Lamaze firefly - the others she is ok with, but that one is her favorite. ?She has a leap frog spinning wheal thing - it sings about letters. ?Last week she figured out how to spin it herself and she laughs at that and it holds her attention so well.
I have a small house and I could not live without the Fisher Price Newborn to Toddler rocker. ?The colors are ugly, but DD hangs out in it all the time. ?When she is congested she sleeps in it. ?The best part is that it pretty much folds flat for easy storage and/or transport.
Add lots of books to your registry - DD loves being read to and likes the bright colors.?
the jumperoo. i couldn't live without it!
teething toys are fun, even when lo isn't teething. rattles, bibs, baby dishes, a mirror, baby books (like board books, soft cloth books), onsies until 12months.
ditto to all pp's.
?adding ~ DS loves his stackable rings and cups. ? also his LeapFrog learning table. ?the legs come off so he could play with it when he was able to first sit up. ?now he pulls up to it and make the music start and then lets go and dances (eek!!)
?
also, you could add safety items like baby gates and cabinet locks. ?those things are expensive. ?i wish i had thought to add them before we had to buy them on our own.?
Anything with a mirror.
Also - we have an "Oball" and it was great for when they start grabbing stuff. there is one with little rattles built in it and I wish I had gotten that one instead.
