It would be shortened to Max...and bruce is my dad's name who is deceased.

Maximilian is nms... it's always felt a bit pompous to me in all honesty, but Max is really cute.

Maximillian is NMS. I like Maxwell a lot more. Dh's best friend is named Max and it's not short for anything. I like the mn and I love that it's after your dad. He would be honored, I'm sure!

Ditto the others - Maxwell Bruce goes much better.  Maximillian is just a lot of name for anyone to have to grow into.

I know a Maximillian, and he absolutely hates his full name. He goes by Max. Just nms as a full name, which sounds really pretentious. Max is much better.

LOVE Max.  It's my top choice right now for DS2 (Maxwell).  I agree that Maximillian is a big name, but if you love it, use it.  You'll call him Max anyway
