DH and I have been wanting to go up to the Clearwater hotel for a long time now...how did you guys like it? We used to go up and gamble there when I was 19 b/c it was one of the few casinos where you didnt have to be 21..they opened up the hotel right after I turned 21 and we havent had to go up there ever since but to this day, it is still one of our favorite casinos! How were the prices? Have you ever been to Tulalip? Do they have a hotel too? We've never been to that one before and Im thinking about surprising DH with a fathers day weekend trip to either Clearwater or Tulalip...scale from 1-10?

Omg well our room was FANTASTIC!  It had 2 flat screen tv's and the most comfortable bed ever!!  In fact you can buy their bedding and mattresses!  We had this incredible view of the water and their pool is so cool (its inside) but its like a lagoon!  Our room was around $245 but we got the big suite waterrfront room.  All the rooms come with an all you can eat breakfast buffet in the casino in the morning and Omg that was some GOOD eatin!  We also ate dinner at the steakhouse there and had really good food!  Their ceasar salads are a must have!  The gambling was fun, we started with $60 and at one point were up around $250 and by the end of the night we were down $50 but that was playing slots and blackjack all night so it wasn't too bad!  They also had a great band and music to go dance if you wanted.  I feel like it was right up there with vegas casinos and definately more comfy beds than mandalay bay!  We are totally going to go back again!  I think it was a great getaway because we felt like we were "out of town" without really having to go that far!

AWESOME! Well that just sealed the deal! Clearwater it is that's awesome that you get to eat breakfast at the buffet too! Sound like my kind of weekend!

Hey when you call to make a reservation tell them your a AAA member, we weren't members but told them we were and got the discount anyway lol!
