Deval, Deval, Deval. What is he thinking? As if the state isn't in a financial crisis enough, he is going to start giving away cars, loaded with insurance. AAA, etc. I understand his thought process, but really this is not the time nor place. Free T passes. MBTA, etc now that - totally do-able. This, not so much.

I was fuming when I heard about this.......and MA just passed a 25% increase in the sales tax (from 5% to 6.25%) which is going to do a number on business near the NH border (where there is no sales tax).  But really they have no business raising any taxes when they are doing things like this.  Oh and we have the free cell phone plan too........That's called Safelink.

I get the whole idea of how it could help but the way its run it leaves it open to sooo much abuse

I think its a huge mistake and Deval should be ashamed of himself.  He is doing no good for this state

I'm a bleeding heart...so I get it.  I undertand the need.  It doesn't sound like a well thought out program though.  I can see why people are up in arms...especially when they are raising every tax and fee they can get their hands on here.

He's an idiot.  But then again this is the same guy who gave all the federal stimulus school money to the rich towns who don't need it and it letting the small middle class towns close schools and sports programs and lay off teachers.
