exactly what all happens at the 6 week pp appt?

I had a c-section and wanted to know what all happens...do they look at your chalupa. do the discuss birth control and look at your battle scars? just wondering i have my appt next week and am kinda scared! i don't wanna hurt anymore! lol my battle scar still hurts my tummy does too and my chalupa is still bleeding and i feel like I'm on my period!

If you are still bleeding, your doc may want to wait until you stop to do the PP appointment.  I was going in every week due to my infection, and my doc chose to wait until 7 weeks.  It's no big deal - they check your uterus (just like the internals you were having before baby was born), and your incision, and yes, discuss birth control.

The appt wasn't bad. It was like a pap smear but not as invasive. I bled a lot too. (I gave birth vaginally.) Probably for about 7-8 weeks. GL!

My DH loves chalupas! LOL

Anyway, at my appointment, she checked the vag, checked my scar and asked about BC. I got a script for the mini-pill.

this, plus Dr. pushed down on my stomach (same as she did in the hospital) which made me start bleeding again for a week
