Moses Basket

Ok I have a silly question.  I want to use a moses basket for the first couple of months for the baby in our room.  But...where do you put it? I seems unsafe to put ontop of a dresser.  The only place I think is safe is n the floor?  But is that ick?

I used one with a stand.  Just google stands and you can order online.  It was very portable that way and I could go from living room to our bedroom really easy.

I'm being a jerk....but, your only 5 weeks pregnant. ?Why are you worrying about this already?

?Also, they make special stands for the Moses basket. ?But I think it's safe to say that most new moms use PnP's. ?Not the basket.??

i'm simply trying to learn and research.  sorry if it bothers you.

I put mine on the foor but he didn't sleep in it at night, only during naps. I probably would have put it on my bed between DH and I if I was smart enough to figure that out because he slept really well in there.
