So I have the 2007 book compliments of my friend who had her baby girl in December 2008.  Do I really need to go get the new book or do you Gals think this one is just fine?

Some chapters have defintily been updated. I ended up buying th enew one, but you can download new chapters from their website for a small fee, as well as just go to your local barnes and noble and browse through the chapters.  I believe the biggest updates are on cribs, strollers, carseats, and montiors.

I was to lazy so I just bought the new book!

I have the old version as well (bought it before I knew a new one was coming out). We ended up buying the individual chapters on cribs, car seats, and strollers. I'm happy we did that. Although in the end it wasn't much cheaper than just re-buying the book. I would definitely want the updated crib version if nothing else.

I wanted to see the reviews for one crib in particular, so I bought the updated crib chapter. I think the rest of the book is fine.

There are some significant updates so I'd go to B&N and just browse through it.
